Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. What we collect

Ledger collects your email address and a hashed password when you create an account. Your budget data — income entries, expenses, bills, savings and daily transactions — is stored in your account on our servers.

2. How we use your data

We use your email address solely to authenticate your account and send essential service communications such as password resets. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers with access restricted to authorised systems. Passwords are hashed using a strong one-way algorithm and never stored in plain text. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS.

4. Cookies

Ledger uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are set.

5. Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. To request a data export or raise a privacy concern, contact us via the email address on your account.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Ledger after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
